Buddy Miles has died.

He’ll probably best be remembered for his drumming with Jimi Hendrix’s Band of Gypsys, but also played with bands that included The Delfonics, and Electric Flag with Mike Bloomfield.
Along with playing drums he sang vocals for the California Raisins ad campaign in 1986.

He died at the age of 60. No announcement as of yet as to what caused his death.

If I did vote, which I don’t, I’d spend my quarter on Brooke White. Unless of course she starts to annoy me, then I’ll have to find another favorite. Until then, it’s Brooke.

You’ll never guess what came in the mail today, well actually you probably will if you read the title of this article. That aside, it appears that the disk replacement process has started for Guitar Hero III for the Wii. I received my return disk mailer today.

A form needs to be filled out, and the disk sent in with the provided square, cardboard mailer. You have until Aug 31, 2008 to get the mono disc to Activision.

The original oversight on the publisher’s part to allow a music game to be distributed with a mono soundtrack, is completely ridiculous.

Thanks Activision for making this right.
