Winning Super Bowl shirts end up in Nicaragua

It seems that the shirts proclaiming the New England Patriots Super Bowl LXII Champions found a happy home in Nicaragua.
The poor kids are much more deserving of these even if the Pat’s did win. But that’s just me.

Montoya heads into 2008 with high expectations

9A0D0628-1354-4730-8384-6F75890CFF93.jpg Look, I’m not a NASCAR fan. I don’t get it. Round and round and round and round and round . .. .. but that’s me, and apparently I’m in the minority. I am however a Forumla 1 fan, and an open wheel fan, acutally I’m a race fan. I appreciate the sport in it’s many forms, and appreciate the hard work and dedication of the different teams in the different series.

I will be following Juan Pablo this year in NASCAR and hope to see him win some races this year, which will no doubt tick off the NASCAR faithful. That’s really what this is all about ;)

Montoya heads into 2008 with high expectations for second NASCAR season:

“DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - His first season was considered a success, but his car owner wants even more.
Juan Pablo Montoya heads into his second season in NASCAR with a ‘Chase or bust’ edict that will challenge the former Formula One star to turn it up a notch.

Car owner Chip Ganassi has made it clear he wants the Colombian racing for the Sprint Cup title this season. If he’s feeling any pressure from it, Montoya isn’t letting on.”

Strawberry to pay IRS back taxes, interest

Daryl Strawberry owes Uncle $430,000 in back taxes and all the fixins that go with those charges. He’s already paid $8600 of it, he doesn’t have that much more to go.

Perhaps the feds provided him a payment booklet and put him on an installment plan ?

Strawberry to pay IRS back taxes, interest: “Former baseball star Darryl Strawberry will pay the IRS more than $430,000 in back taxes, penalties and interest.

A judgment was signed Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Donald M. Middlebrooks. Strawberry was convicted of tax evasion in 1995 over income from autographs and memorabilia. He is agreeing to pay the IRS for tax years 1989 and 1990.

Court papers show that Strawberry has already paid the IRS more than $8,600 of the total amount.”

ESPN’s Chris Berman Loves His 222’s

Here’s the one trick pony Chris Berman talking about 222’s which is some kinda of aspirin with codeine, along with how much he’s hating the Jet’s game that he’s covering.
I’ve recently saw another video of Berman ranting about something on set, he comes off as being very full of himself. In this video, he just comes off as being stoned.

ESPN’s Chris Berman Loves His 222’s: “

ESPN’s Chris Berman is secretly recorded as he is on a rant about how bad the football game starring the Jets happens to be. He goes on talking about his love for 222’s which are Canadian Aspirin laced with 8% codeine. Berman goes into detail of where to buy them and how to sneak them over the border into the United States. You can tell he is a bit stoned during the interview as it plays out.

Eagles throw franchise tag on L.J. Smith

The “tag” means that other teams can make an offer for him, but the Eagles have a week to match those offers. If he signs with the birds, it’ll be in the salary range of the top tight ends in the league, around $4.522 mil for the year.

Eagles throw franchise tag on L.J. Smith: “Tight end L.J. Smith, who was scheduled to become a free agent at the end of the month, was given the franchise tag by the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday.

The deal was first reported by FOXSports.com’s Jay Glazer, who reported that Smith will earn $4.522 million on a one-year deal.”
